Birmingham, AL – La Alianza Mundial contra la Enfermedad de Erdheim-Chester (ECDGA) y la Facultad de Medicina de la UAB invitan a pacientes, familiares, profesionales sanitarios e investigadores a que reserven la fecha.

Aiuti per le spese di viaggio – Fondo per le spese di viaggio in memoria di Glenn Padnick. Sono aperte le candidature per la Conferenza dell’ECDGA del 2026.
Glenn Padnick ha vissuto una vita piena e significativa, affrontando per decenni la malattia di Erdheim-Chester (ECD). Dal 2011 al 2022 ha lavorato con instancabile dedizione nel Consiglio di Amministrazione dell’Alleanza Globale ECD, assicurandosi sempre che le voci e le esigenze dei pazienti fossero al centro di ogni decisione.
In onore dell’eredità di servizio e compassione lasciata da Glenn, la sua famiglia ha generosamente istituito il Fondo per i viaggi in memoria di Glenn Padnick. Questo fondo fornisce un sostegno economico per consentire a pazienti, assistenti e professionisti del settore medico di partecipare alla conferenza annuale dell’ECD, a cui altrimenti non potrebbero prendere parte a causa di difficoltà economiche.
Sono già aperte le candidature per le borse di viaggio per la Conferenza ECD 2026. I fondi a disposizione sono limitati e verrà data priorità a chi non ha mai partecipato all’evento. Il nostro obiettivo è quello di rendere accessibile questa opportunità al maggior numero possibile di membri della comunità, compatibilmente con le risorse disponibili.
