Περίληψη Συμποσίου
Περίπου 38 ιατροί από εννέα χώρες παρακολούθησαν το Ετήσιο Ιατρικό Συμπόσιο ECD το 2019. Παρουσιάστηκαν δώδεκα προφορικές περιλήψεις, καθώς και τέσσερις επιπλέον παρουσιάσεις αναρτημένων ανακοινώσεων. Ως προσκεκλημένος ομιλητής, ο Καθηγητής Luigi Naldini, έδωσε μια ομιλία με τίτλο «Γενετική μηχανική της αιμοποίησης για τη θεραπεία των
κληρονομικών ασθενειών και του καρκίνου». Μια βραδινή δεξίωση παρείχε χρόνο για συζητήσεις που υποστήριξαν τις τρέχουσες και μελλοντικές συνεργασίες μεταξύ αυτής της εξαιρετικά ενημερωμένης ομάδας ιατρών και επιστημόνων, όλοι ενδιαφερόμενοι να μάθουν περισσότερα για την Erdheim-Chester Disease.
