Sintesi del simposio
Circa 38 professionisti medici provenienti da nove paesi hanno partecipato al Simposio Medico Annuale sull’ECD nel 2019. Sono stati presentati dodici abstract orali, insieme a quattro presentazioni poster aggiuntive. Come relatore invitato, il Prof. Luigi Naldini ha tenuto un intervento dal titolo “Ingegneria genetica dell’ematopoiesi per il trattamento di
malattie ereditarie e cancro.” Un ricevimento serale ha offerto tempo per discussioni a sostegno di collaborazioni attuali e future tra questo gruppo altamente qualificato di medici e scienziati, tutti interessati ad approfondire la conoscenza della malattia di Erdheim-Chester.
