3e jaarlijkse ECD medisch symposium Houston, TX
Samenvatting symposium
Ongeveer 52 medische professionals uit acht landen woonden het jaarlijkse medische ECD-symposium in 2015 bij. Er werden twaalf mondelinge abstracts gepresenteerd. Als gastsprekers hield Omar Abdel-Wahab, MD, PhD, een presentatie getiteld “Diverse and Targetable Kinase Alterations Drive Histiocytic Neoplasms” en presenteerde Timothy Craig Allen, MD, JD “Social Media in the Rare Disease World.” Een avondreceptie bood tijd voor discussies ter ondersteuning van huidige en toekomstige samenwerkingen binnen deze zeer deskundige groep artsen en wetenschappers, die allen geïnteresseerd zijn om meer te leren over Erdheim-Chester.
