3er Simposio Médico Anual de ECD Houston, TX
Resumen del Simposio
Aproximadamente 52 profesionales médicos de ocho países asistieron al Simposio Médico Anual sobre ECD en 2015. Se presentaron doce resúmenes orales. Como ponentes invitados, Omar Abdel-Wahab, MD, PhD, ofreció una charla titulada «Alteraciones cinasas diversas y dirigibles impulsan las neoplasias histiocíticas» y Timothy Craig Allen, MD, JD presentó «Redes sociales en el mundo de las enfermedades raras». Una recepción vespertina proporcionó tiempo para debates que fomentaron colaboraciones actuales y futuras entre este grupo de médicos y científicos altamente cualificados, todos interesados en aprender más sobre la Enfermedad de Erdheim-Chester.
