Samenvatting symposium

Ongeveer 44 medische professionals uit zes landen woonden in 2018 het jaarlijkse medisch symposium over ECD bij. Er werden tien mondelinge abstracts gepresenteerd, samen met nog eens zes posterpresentaties. Als gastspreker hield Matthew Collin een lezing getiteld “Erdheim-Chester Disease: Cancer, but not as we know it.” Een avondreceptie bood tijd voor discussies ter ondersteuning van huidige en toekomstige samenwerkingen binnen deze zeer deskundige groep artsen en wetenschappers, die er allemaal op gebrand zijn meer te leren over de ziekte van Erdheim-Chester.
