Reisestipendier
Reisestøtte – Glenn Padnick-minnefondet for reisestøtte tar nå imot søknader til ECDGA-konferansen i 2026.
Glenn Padnick levde et rikt og meningsfylt liv mens han levde med Erdheim-Chester-syndromet (ECD) i flere tiår. Fra 2011 til 2022 var han med urokkelig engasjement medlem av styret i ECD Global Alliance, og sørget alltid for at pasientenes stemmer og behov sto i sentrum for alle beslutninger.
Til ære for Glenns livsgjerning preget av tjeneste og medmenneskelig omsorg har familien hans generøst opprettet «Glenn Padnick Memorial Travel Fund». Dette fondet yter økonomisk støtte for å hjelpe pasienter, omsorgspersoner og helsepersonell med å delta på den årlige ECD-konferansen – spesielt de som ellers ikke ville ha hatt mulighet til å delta på grunn av økonomiske begrensninger.
Det er nå åpent for søknader om reisestøtte til ECD-konferansen i 2026. Midlene er begrenset, og det vil bli gitt prioritet til personer som aldri har deltatt på arrangementet før. Målet vårt er å gjøre denne muligheten tilgjengelig for så mange medlemmer av fellesskapet som mulig, innenfor rammen av de tilgjengelige ressursene.
