This September, ECD Global Alliance will launch our most ambitious Erdheim-Chester Disease Awareness Month campaign to date. Built around the theme Know ECD. Change Lives., this month-long initiative is designed to increase awareness, encourage earlier recognition, and help connect more people with expert care, trusted information, and a supportive global community.

Throughout September, we’ll share new educational content that tells the story of ECD in a meaningful and engaging way. Each week will highlight a different aspect of the disease, from understanding the basics of ECD and recognizing תסמינים to learning about research, מרכזי טיפול, patient experiences, and the many ways our community supports one another. During ECD Information Week, each day will feature its own special theme, helping shine a brighter light on this rare disease.

You’ll also see physician interviews, patient and caregiver stories, educational סרטונים, infographics, downloadable משאבים, interactive activities, and Care Center spotlights throughout the month. Ziggy will serve as our Awareness Month guide, helping explain ECD through quick facts, educational content, and messages of hope and encouragement for patients and families around the world.
