Symposium Summary

Approximately 38 medical professionals from nine countries attended the Annual ECD Simposio Médico in 2019. Twelve oral abstracts were presented, along with an additional four poster presentations. As an invited speaker, Prof. Luigi Naldini, delivered a talk titled “Genetic engineering of hematopoiesis to treat

inherited diseases and cancer.” An evening reception provided time for discussions supporting current and future collaborations among this highly knowledgeable group of physicians and scientists, all interested in learning more about Erdheim-Chester Disease.
