Last week, ECDGA President Diane Schriner and ECDGA Staff Member Jerome Henson represented the Erdheim-Chester Disease Global Alliance (ECDGA) at the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Annual Conference, joined by Dr. Mitali Sen, a rheumatologist from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Together, they are raising awareness about Erdheim-Chester Disease (ECD) among rheumatologists, clinicians, and researchers from around the world. Through educational outreach, professional collaboration, and personal engagement, they are helping expand recognition of this rare disease and encouraging earlier diagnosis and improved care.
The ACR Annual Conference brings together thousands of experts dedicated to advancing the understanding and treatment of rheumatologic and rare inflammatory conditions—making it an ideal platform to highlight ECD and the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration.
We’re proud to have Diane, Jerome, and Dr. Sen representing the ECD community and helping ensure that Erdheim-Chester Disease continues to gain visibility within the medical field.
Thank you for your commitment to raising awareness and building connections on behalf of patients and families affected by ECD!
