Progress in Erdheim-Chester Disease (ECD) doesn\u2019t happen in isolation. It\u2019s made possible through collaboration among scientists, clinicians, and the patients and families who push forward despite the unknowns. At the center of this progress stands the Medical Advisory Board of the Erdheim-Chester Disease Global Alliance (ECDGA)<\/strong>: a team of expert volunteers shaping how we understand, research, and care for this rare condition.<\/p>\n

As we celebrate Volunteer Month<\/strong>, we recognize the outstanding professionals who dedicate their time, intellect, and compassion\u2014not because they have to, but because they believe in what\u2019s possible.<\/p>\n

A Volunteer Role with Global Reach<\/h3>\n

The ECDGA Medical Advisory Board is composed of physicians and researchers from around the world who specialize in fields critical to ECD\u2014oncology, immunology, hematology, neurology, nephrology, and beyond. These aren\u2019t just consultants. They are volunteer leaders<\/strong> working side by side with ECDGA to inform strategy, elevate patient care, and support scientific progress.<\/p>\n

They guide the development of educational materials, weigh in on promising therapies, advise on global registry initiatives, and help connect the ECDGA with international research networks.
