Dato:<\/strong> Thursday, October 15, 2026 Dr Vaglio graduated at the University of Parma (Italy) in 2000, and at the same institution completed his Nephrology post-graduate fellowship (2005) and his PhD (2009). In 2005-2006 he was post-doctoral fellow at the Lowance Center for Human Immunology of the Emory University, Atlanta, USA.<\/p>\n Dr Vaglio\u2019s research interests include systemic vasculitis, lupus nephritis, retroperitoneal fibrosis and IgG4 related disease, and Erdheim-Chester disease. He is a member of the scientific council of the European Vasculitis Society (EUVAS) and coordinates the European EGPA study group. He published >300 papers in international, peer-reviewed journals and lectured in >60 International Meetings. He is Associate Editor of Nephrology Dialysis and Transplantation. Dr Vaglio currently serves as Director of the Post-Graduate Fellowship program in Nephrology at the University of Florence, Italy, where he is Associate Professor of Nephrology.
