Ce prix annuel rend hommage aux contributions significatives du Dr Mark Heaney, h\u00e9matologue de renom \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 de Columbia, dont l'engagement a profond\u00e9ment marqu\u00e9 l'Alliance depuis sa cr\u00e9ation jusqu'\u00e0 son d\u00e9c\u00e8s en 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Heaney&#8217;s unwavering commitment to the ECD community has left an indelible mark, inspiring this award that honors individuals or groups who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to raising awareness of Erdheim-Chester Disease (ECD) and adult Histio-related conditions. The goal of these awareness activities is crucial\u2014they aim to educate physicians and other key figures who can aid in the early and accurate diagnosis of ECD.<\/p>\n<p>Le Prix Mark Heaney pour la sensibilisation est ouvert \u00e0 tous \u2014 patients, soignants, professionnels de sant\u00e9, chercheurs, amis \u2014, sans distinction de nationalit\u00e9 ou de lieu de r\u00e9sidence. Sont \u00e9ligibles les candidats ayant men\u00e9, au cours des 12 derniers mois, des actions de sensibilisation exceptionnelles et efficaces, destin\u00e9es aux professionnels de sant\u00e9, afin d\u2019am\u00e9liorer leur compr\u00e9hension et leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 diagnostiquer pr\u00e9cocement la maladie de ECD.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous connaissez une personne qui s'est activement impliqu\u00e9e dans ces initiatives visant \u00e0 faire \u00e9voluer les mentalit\u00e9s, nous vous encourageons \u00e0 proposer sa candidature.
