The aim of this study was to better define the microenvironment inside ECD lesions and to evaluate the possibility of using specific drugs, already available for human usage, to find new therapeutic options for the disease.\u202f The study ran from January 2011 until June 2012.\u202f The results of this study can be found in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Vol. 310, 2012, in an article entitled, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/22869874\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" aria-label=\"Tumor Necrosis Factor as a Master Regulator of Inflammation in Erdheim-Chester Disease: Rationale for the Treatment of Patients with Infliximab - opens in new tab - opens in new tab\">Tumor Necrosis Factor as a Master Regulator of Inflammation in Erdheim-Chester Disease: Rationale for the Treatment of Patients with Infliximab<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L'ECD Global Alliance attribue une bourse de recherche d'un montant de $49 745 \u00e0 Lorenzo Dagna, de l'Institut scientifique San Raffaele de Milan, en Italie.
