Environ 54 professionnels de la sant\u00e9 de 8 pays ont particip\u00e9 au symposium m\u00e9dical annuel de l\u2019ECD en 2025. Dix-huit r\u00e9sum\u00e9s oraux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s, ainsi que huit pr\u00e9sentations d\u2019affiches suppl\u00e9mentaires. En tant que conf\u00e9rencier invit\u00e9, Manel Juan, MD, a donn\u00e9 une conf\u00e9rence intitul\u00e9e \u00ab Immunoth\u00e9rapies par cellules CAR-T : faire progresser les th\u00e9rapies au-del\u00e0 des cancers h\u00e9matologiques, gr\u00e2ce au mod\u00e8le de Barcelone \u00bb. Une r\u00e9ception en soir\u00e9e a permis de discuter des collaborations actuelles et futures au sein de ce groupe de m\u00e9decins et de scientifiques tr\u00e8s comp\u00e9tents, tous d\u00e9sireux d\u2019en savoir plus sur la maladie d\u2019Erdheim-Chester. <\/p>\n

Please feel free to invite your colleagues.\r\n\r\nHost<\/strong> \"\"<\/a>Xavier Solanich, MD, PhD is this year\u2019s host of the ECD Meeting. Dr. Solanich is a medical specialist in internal medicine at the University Hospital of Bellvitge where he has practiced since August 2010. He leads the ECD Referral Care Center at Bellvitge and in addition to ECD patients, he attends to patients with other rare diseases such as Rosai-Dorfman, primary immunodeficiencies, and some hereditary metabolic diseases (especially Gaucher). He sees patients with systemic autoimmune diseases, mainly systemic vasculitis, periaortitis \/ retroperitoneal fibrosis, and IgG4-related diseases. He is also a consultant to the ophthalmology service for diagnosis and management of patients with uveitis, immune \/ ischemic optic neuritis, and orbital pseudotumor. Dr. Solanich also works in the Systemic Diseases and Aging group at the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute (IDIBELL). He has participated in multiple national and international research projects to study systemic autoimmune diseases, immunodeficiencies, and other rare diseases. He has also participated in several clinical trials as principal investigator or collaborator, obtaining competitive public funding.
