Adem\u00e1s de su labor cl\u00ednica, es profesor de la Universidad de Barcelona e investigador principal del Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n Biom\u00e9dica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL). El Dr. Solanich ha contribuido a numerosos proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n nacionales e internacionales centrados en enfermedades autoinmunes, inmunodeficiencias y otros trastornos raros. <\/p>\n<p>Como m\u00e9dico jefe del Centro de Cuidados ECD de la BUH, el Dr. Solanich supervisa el cuidado de los pacientes con ECD, enfermedad considerada hist\u00f3ricamente como un trastorno inflamatorio multisist\u00e9mico.
